Mother's Day Classic Registration

May 12th and 13th, 2012

AGE GROUPS: Grade 4-11 ages 9-16 (A&B Divisions).  All athletes must be AAU registered before the event. 

 

SITES:     Connecticut College, Mitchell College and other Southeastern CT sites

 

FORMAT:  4 games guaranteed with 16 min. halves.  Schedules and directions will be posted on our website approximately 2 weeks prior to the tournament.  No schedules will be mailed.

 

AWARDS:  T-shirts for MVP, Hustle and Sportsmanship awarded at each site.  Prizes for the free-throw and three-point shooting contest winners awarded at each site.  Every mother will receive a carnation on Mother's Day.

 

ENTRY FEE: $425

DEADLINE:
    The first 140 teams are accepted. We reserve the right to exclude teams who have been previous “no-shows”, exhibited unprofessional behavior or are not in good standing with our organization.

CONFIRMATION:  Confirmation will be emailed upon receipt of registration and full payment.

LODGING: Hotel rooms have been blocked for incoming teams. This is New England’s most popular tourist area so make your reservations early. See our website for any additional hotel information. 

EXPOSURE:  All Division II and III coaches from New England and the Northeast are invited. This is the last spring Div II evaluation weekend. Approximately 50 college coaches attend each year at the 5 court Connecticut College facility. All Grade 11 (16s) play at this facility.  

ATTRACTIONS:  Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casino/ Entertainment Complexes, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, theaters, shopping malls, museums and fine restaurants.
